Exposure to PM10 daily mean
In 2015 the number of days where the daily mean exceeded the treshold value of 50µg/m³ was limited, with the Belgian population being exposed to such daily mean concentrations on less than 35 days. With such a result, Belgium does about equally well as in 2014 and clearly better than in 2011 and the years before. We should however consider the spatial resolution of the RIO interpolation technique, which leads to relatively high uncertainties for the exposure values.
Evolution of the population exposure to days with a daily mean concentration of PM10 above 50µg/m³. All data were calculated based on the RIO interpolation technique.
